ShibaSearch gone? Uh-huh, fat chance!

There have been rumors recently that ShibaSearch, a project aimed to burn SHIB via people searching the web with their search engine, may be abandoned.

Next thing you know your imagination starts to run wild, picturing their team lounging on the beaches surrounded by models in bikinis and shib.

The main ‘evidence’ in favor of that ‘theory’ is that burns by ShibaSearch haven’t really graced the scene in a while, with the most recent one having occurred all the way back in April.

The answer is no, nope and nuh-uh.

According to their recent reply to a "they're gone!" kind of tweet, they’re not gone at all. Instead, their project is quote unquote “transitioning.”

We don’t really know and their team isn’t sharing a whole lot of info on what they might be working on. The only time they “may” have made a hint was when they asked in their tweet whether people would feel more inclined to use their Discord, if doing so meant getting rewards in SHIB.

And that’s enough ground to theorize.

What we all have to understand is that burning the token is a way to shave SHIB's supply down - but it’s not the only way.

Consider this, if another million crypto nuts were to jump up on the SHIB hodlers bandwagon, each to buy and hold at least 100 million tokens, that would punch another 100 billion shibs out of circulation. Play around with both numbers and you’ll start to see interesting things happen.

This simple model proves you can reduce supply without technically burning it at all!

We didn’t say that. Or, rather, we didn’t write that.

However, what we do know is that one Spectre Gazushi, a user with an ear to the ground on what’s happening around the ShibaSearch project, did mention some “wealth distribution” as another strategy towards reducing SHIB supply and subsequently adding value to the token.

Interpret that whichever way you like. But don’t go spreading rumors about ShibaSearch being gone.

In the meantime, we’ll keep trying to infiltrate the inner circles of ShibaSearch in order to spy on their vile schemes and leak sensitive info on what they might be up to.
