Burn rate is down 86% - again!

It seems SHIB is having wild mood swings lately, or rather its burn rate does. With the news of over 5 billion tokens burned over the course of a single day (May 19) now tapering off, the token’s burn rate has plummeted 86% from where it was less than a day ago.

According to shibburn.com, only 814,566,833 $SHIB were ‘blackholed’ in the last 24 hours, represented by the BFDL (Big F***ing Declining Line).

Unlike Bitcoin, where only its price matters for an average hodler, SHIB walks a different path, having our eyes glued not only to its price dial, but also the amount of tokens burned per any given day, since the latter is believed to be able to raise the former in the distant future. (They’re like a pair of  star crossed lovers, really.)

Also, we kind of feel weird using the word ‘only’ when talking about a six digit number, but such is the state of affairs for $SHIB. Perhaps, some measly 814,566,833 $SHIB would sound better?

This occasion is another argument in favor of why you can’t really mark the day on the calendar you’re sure the burns will achieve their goal, as the burn rate tends to act worse than a 5 year old kid throwing temper tantrums at Disneyland.
