4 Zeros in Two Years - $0.1 Shib by 2024?
You know that “Shiba Inu deleting twenty zeroes tomorrow!” kind of talk on social media? That thing is like herpes - better not touch it with a ten foot pole. But that’s not the point.
The point is that even though those kinds of tweets may sound a tad far-fetched, they aren’t a complete pile of 100% unadulterated horse manure. SHIB did, in fact, shed some zeros since it first rolled out and it may continue to do so.
We’ll keep it short for maximum impact on your perception of the situation.
At inception back in August 2020, the token came out to greet the crypto community being tailed by a whopping 9 zeros! Now, those were the golden days: you could load up on billions of Shib, all for a few hundred bucks!

Ever since then, SHIB has had its share of ups and downs, with the price hitting both the floors and the heavens on multiple occasions. At press time, the token is juggling between 5 and 4 zeroes for the indices. For the sake of argument, let’s say it's a solid 5 zero value!
So, all numbers accounted for, one could say that in the last two years Shiba Inu was steadily shaving at least 2 donuts off of its price per year!
Now, does that mean we’re only some measly couple years away from the glorious $0.1 per token era? You can almost hear a professor-like voice objecting like, “Preposterous!” right now.
In all seriousness, it's doable, considering the next two years solve a number of problems, which otherwise are going to stand like a concrete wall between that goal and the token. But our community has a few things coming, like Shibarium, which should bring lower transaction fees, and ideally implement a better burning mechanism unlike the official burn portal, should in theory make the token more attractive to a larger audience.
Other projects like the Metaverse, and possibly ShibaSearch may also be able to put some ripples on the water - giving the token more usability and ultimately making it more attractive to a wider audience.
We shall see. In the meantime, it's good to know there are hundreds of people f**d up on energy drinks and working tirelessly towards bringing SHIB to the Moon, right?
